Kathmandu, Jan 10: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that the role of tourism sector was crucial for the nation's economic development.
Inaugurating the fourth general convention of CPN (UML)-aligned Nepal National Tourism Entrepreneurs Association in Kathmandu on Friday, he said that the tourism industry has vital role to ensure a robust economy.
Poudel also pledged to move ahead by resolving the challenges in this sector for the long-term while terming the tourism sector as a key pillar of national economy.
Minister Poudel argued that the tourism sector should flourish for the country's prosperity.
Likewise, the convention elected 41-member new working committee under the chair of Rajendra Prasad Sapkota. (RSS)
