Efforts to tame river

Kailali, Dec.31: The large stones placed on the bank to control the river after the embankment built by Ranijamra Kularia irrigation project in Kailasheshwar Community Forest Area of Janaki Rural Municipality-6 of Kailali district got washed away by the Karnali river.
This method has been effective for river control.
