Political stability needed for sustainable development, DPM Singh says

Solukhumbu, Dec 29: Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh and Defence Minister Man Bir Rai on Sunday jointly laid the foundation stones for the construction of an administrative building of Solududhkunda Municipality.     

On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that political stability was needed to ensure sustainable development and added that the current government was formed for maintaining political stability.     

Likewise, Defence Minister Rai said the current government formed with the coalition of Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) has initiated development and transformation.     

Members of Koshi Province Assembly Buddhi Kumar Rajbhandari, Amrit Aryal, Dolma Tamang and other speakers expressed their views and urged the leadership for the development of Solukhumbu district.     

The total cost of the building is estimated Rs 71.4 million, the municipality officials said.
