By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 18: Sudur Paschim Royals entered in final of Nepal Premier League (NPL) beating Janakpur Bolts by 8 wickets in the First Qualifier match on Wednesday at Kirtipur.
Sudur Paschim achieved the target given by Janakpur in 18.3 overs in a loss of just 2 wickets making 141 runs.
To achieve the target of 140 runs, Sudur Paschim's Binod Bhandari hit a half-century making 58 runs, Saif Zaib scored 32 runs, Brandon McMullen scored 25 runs and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 20 runs.
Janakpur's Lalit Rajbanshi and Kishore Mahato took one wicket each.
Earlier, Janakpur posted a 140-run target for Sudur Paschim Royals.
With the First Qualifier win Sudur Paschim directly qualified for the NPL Final whereas with the loss Janakpur will play qualifier 2 against Karnali to keep hope of reaching the final.
