By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 16: The Rising Nepal, Nepal’s first English broadsheet, is marking its 59th anniversary today.
Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has graced the anniversary ceremony while Executive Chairman and General Manager of the Gorkhapatra Coporation, Bishnu Subedia and Lal Bahadur Airi respectively, are attending it.
The Rising Nepal is one of the dailies of the Gorkhapatra Corporation, an undertaking of the Government of Nepal.
