Bhajani (Kailali), Dec 15: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, has said education requires timely changes.
CM Shah said it during a programme organized to lay a foundation stone for a golden pillar of the Birendra Vidyamandir Community Educational Guthee at Tikapur in the district on Sunday. Educational transformation is imperative to ensure positive change in people's life.
He reminded that Birendra Vidaymandir had made Tikapur known. CM Shah also recollected the contribution made by the late Khadga Bahadur Singh in the development of education sector.
According to him, the province government was forwarding the activities to establish the Tikapur technical university, but it warrants all sides' cooperation.
He also announced to chip in his one month's salary for the celebration of the schools' golden jubilee. If people from different walks of life extend support, it would not be difficult to manage such function and forward education development as well, Shah argued.
The Guthi is observing the golden jubilee celebration of the school on February 21-23. (RSS)
