Kathmandu, Dec 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the formation of the incumbent coalition government aims to end political instability in the country and take it towards stability, order and prosperity.
In his address to the 21st National Jyapu Day celebrations in Basantapur today, he said the two largest parties decided to unite to defeat 'efforts' of defaming political parties that contributed to political transformations in the country.
He utilized the time to say that the Newari culture is enriched by its historical values and originality and pledged to increase the size of the revolving funds of the Jyapu Guthi.
On the occasion, he released digital materials regarding the annual festivals of the Newari community.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Cooperatives of the Bagmati province, and Kathmandu metropolis deputy-mayor Sunita Dangol were present on the occasion. (RSS)
