Chitwan defeats Janakpur by 32 runs in NPL

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 14: Chitwan Rhinos defeated Janakpur Bolts by 32 runs in the 25th Match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Saturday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Chitwan defended its 180-run total stopping Janakpur in just 148 runs. Janakpur became all out in 18 overs.

Janakpur's James Neesham hit a half-century making 65 runs, Aasif Sheikh scored 23 runs, Shubh Kansakar 15, Mohammad Mohsin 13, Anil Sah 8, Harsh Thaker 6, Kishore Mahato 4 runs and Lahiru Milantha scored 1 runs. 

Chitwan bowlers Rijan Dhakal, Sohail Tanvir and Kushal Malla took two wickets each. Similarly, Amar Routela took a single wicket.

Earlier, Chitwan Rhinos posted a target of 181 runs batting in the first inning with the help of captain Kushal Malla's half-century.
