Pokhara Avengers defeats Biratnagar Kings

By Gobinda Regmi, Kathmandu, Dec.12: Biratnagar Kings lost to Pokhara Avengers by 13 runs in Super Over in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday in the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

In the super over of the exciting game, Raymon Anton Reifer scored 17 runs and Andries Gauss scored a run for Pokhara. Martin Guptill and  Nicholas Kirton scored two runs each for Biratnagar who scored five runs in reply. Biratnagar got an extra run.

After losing to Pokhara under the captaincy of Kushal Bhurtel, the chances of Biratnagar under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane to reach the playoffs have become weak.

With the win, Pokhara has raised hopes of reaching the playoffs
