NPL: Chitwan posts 162-run target for Pokhara

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 3: Chitwan Rhinos posted a target of 162 runs for Pokhara Avengers in Tuesday's second match in Nepal Premier League (NPL) at Kirtipur.

Batting first, Chitwan scored 161 runs with the help of a half-century of Ravi Bopara in the stipulated 20 overs with a loss of 7 wickets. 

Bopara hit 51 runs whereas Chitwan's captain Kushal Malla scored 38, Luc Benkenstein scored 16, Hassan Eisakhil scored 14, Amar Routela 13, Santosh Karki 11, Sharad Vesawkar 11 and Deepak Bohara scored two runs. 

Earlier, Pokhara Avengers decided to bowl first after winning a toss.

Pokhara bowlers Bipin Khatri, Bas de Leede and Raymon Reifer took two wickets each whereas Sagar Dhakal took one wicket.
