Maoist Centre's Kewat elected as Dhanushadham-1 Chair
By Laxmi Chaudhary, Janakpurdham, Dec.2: Sunil Kapar Kewat of CPN (Maoist Center) has won the by-election that was held on Sunday for the post of ward chair of Dhanushadham Municipality-1, Dhanusha, securing 684 votes.
His nearest rival, Ashok Kumar Mandal of Nepali Congress secured 602 votes while Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP)'s candidate Ajay Kumar Yadav secured 499 votes.
