Dolpa, Nov.26: Nestled atop a hill with a breathtaking view of Shey Phoksundo Lake, the Pal Shenten Thasung Tsholing monastery stands at Rigma village of Shey Phoksundo Rural Municipality-8, Dolpa. The monastery was built before 10 th century.
There is a history that the monastery was established to protect the community and prevent the hunting of wild animals. Recently, the monastery has been systematically reconstructed.
