Trishuli (Nuwakot),Nov.14: A new concrete bridge has been constructed over the Trishuli River in Bidur Municipality in Nuwakot district for Rs 80 million after the truss bridge which was built in 1963 got dilapidated.
According to Mayor of Bidur Municipality Rajan Shrestha, the commute of locals of Nuwakot and Dhading has become efficient as the heavy loads of vehicles can pass through the new concrete bridge
The government has invested Rs 80 million in a two-lane bridge which is eleven meters wide.
According to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the bridge that is built using the "Box Coder Priestess" technology under the "Design and Build Model" is safe, strong, and has more load capacity.
Transport facilities have been operated from the newly constructed bridge.
