Indo-Nepal relations multifaceted: Minister Gurung

Kathmandu, Nov 11: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that Nepal and India relations have been multifaceted and has been strong geographically, culturally, socially, educationally and in various dynamics.     

Addressing the Nepal-India Friendship Summit 2024: Globalization and Socio-Economic Development programme at Kathmandu Model College at Bagbazar here today, Minister Gurung claimed that if the academic connection is closer it would facilitate in exchange of knowledge and skills between the two countries.     

Minister Gurung, also Spokesperson of the government, asserted, "Both Nepal and India have been moving forward by coordinating efforts for sustainable development."     

He expressed his confidence that the summit would foster intellectual and educational discourses thereby contributing to the development of an able educational leadership.     

On the occasion, Minister Gurung awarded various personalities for their outstanding performances and contribution to the education sector.     

The event is organized by the Global Leaders Foundation in association with the Kathmandu Model College. Foundation's Principal Ramesh Tripathi shared that that summit was organized to hold discussions and debate on various aspects of the education sector. (RSS)
