Baglung, Nov. 10: The Gandaki Golden Bridge, a 567-metre-long suspension bridge built over the Kali Gandaki River near the Baglung Kalika Bhagwati Temple, has become a popular tourist attraction in the region.
Located between Bangechour in Baglung Municipality-1 and Aduwabari in Kushma Municipality-1, Parbat, the bridge draws most visitors traveling to Mustang, who are captivated by the stunning natural beauty visible from the bridge.
The bridge has seen an influx of tourists during the Dashain, Tihar and Chhath holidays.
There is an increasing number of people visiting the Baglung-Parbat suspension bridge, which is claimed to be the longest in the world.
Daily, large crowds gather to enjoy the scenic views from the bridge and take photographs.
The panoramic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and the Kali Gandaki River further enhance the bridge's appeal.
Illuminated by twinkling lights, The bridge looks stunning in the evening.
Basanta Kumar Shrestha, Mayor of Baglung Municipality said that the bridge has played a significant role in boosting the tourism development of Baglung.
He explained that the long and high bridge has increased the influx of tourists to nearby attractions, such as the Baglung Kalika Bhagwati Temple and Panchkot Dham, further boosting Baglung's tourism development.
