Two persons arrested with 2 million Indian rupees from undisclosed sources

By Narad Kohar,Taulihawa (Kapilvastu) , 0ct. 22: Police have arrested two people from Krishnanagar Municipality, Kapilvastu district, with a large sum of Indian currency, the source of which is not disclosed. 

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mohan Mani Adhikari from the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, a police team stationed at the Lingate recovered Indian Rupees 2,050,000 from vehicles with the registration number (UP 45 AS 6663) and (UP 42 DT 5721) while checking vehicles moving through the area. 

Police recovered Rs 800,000 from the bag of 33-year-old Salman Kuresiya of Mumbai City, Raigad district, Maharashtra, India, who was driving a car (UP 45 AS 6663), and Rs 1.2 from the bag of 39-year-old Umesh Sakharam Khandagale, who was riding the car (UP 42 DT 5721) in a checking at Lingate. 

Police said that two persons and the recovered money have been sent to Revenue Investigation, Office, Butwal, Rupandehi, for further investigation.
