PM Oli inaugurates National Rescue Tour of Manav Sewa Ashram

Kathmandu, Oct 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday inaugurated the Mechi-Mahakali National Rescue Tour-2081 BS initiated by the Manav Sewa Ashram.

The month-long initiative aims to build a nation free from street people, it is said.     

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar, and the Prime Minister wished for the tour's success. He assured of his full support to the campaign which, as he said, is driven by a profound sense of humanity.     

Prime Minister's spouse Radhika Shakya, former Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, and singer Ani Choying Dolma were present on the occasion. During the event, the Prime Minister offered the Dashain tika and jamara to participants of the tour which is set to run until November 13.(RSS)
