Kathmandu, Dec 21: The Infrastructure Journalists- Nepal (SIJ-Nepal) has unanimously elected its new working committee from its Third Annual General Meeting and Second Convention on Friday.
Sunita Karki is the President, Bimal Khatiwada the Vice-President, Dinesh Khadka the Joint-Secretary and Hima Bishwakarma the Treasurer on the newly-elected SIJ-Nepal Board, said Bhim Gautam, the coordinator of the election committee.
Similarly, Bishnu Raigain, Ashutosh Aryal, Sharmila Neupane, Dhana Dhakal, Nirdosh Ghorasaine and Pawan Timilsina have been elected the Board Member.
SIJ-Nepal is an umbrella organization for infrastructure journalists. SIJ was founded in 2078 B.S. with the goal of improving the capacity, efficiency, knowledge, and skills of infrastructure journalists. Its main goal is to practice journalism to promote and publicize Nepal’s progress and development in the infrastructure sector, as well as the efforts made by concerned agencies in the field of development, and to create a positive environment and provide dynamism in development.
