Different Institutions contribute to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 7: Various national and international hydropower companies along with financial institutions have provided financial support to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.

The companies and financial institutions handed over the cheques of various amounts to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.

The cheque of Rs 10 million each has been handed over by the finance director of the largest hydropower company of the neighboring country India National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) RP Goyal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Arun-III Hydropower Project Limited Prashant Sharma, and Chairperson of the Prabhu Bank Limited Devi Prasad Bhattachan to the PM for a relief fund.

Similarly, Rs 3.1 million cheque has been provided by the Chairperson of the Prime Commercial Bank Rajendra Das Shrestha. 


Likewise, Rs 2.5 million cheque has been handed over by the Chairperson of Prabhu Insurance Limited Rajendra Malla, Rs 2.5 million from the Chairperson of Mahalaxmi Life Insurance, Rs 2.5 million from the chairperson of Prabhu Capital LP Bhanu Sharma to the PM Oli. 

PM Oli thanked for all the helping hands amid the program.
