Kathmandu, Sept 29: After the weather across the country improved, domestic air transport service has resumed from Tribhuvan International Airport as well as eight other airports in the country.

According to the General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport, Jagannath Niraula, flights using the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) system have been permitted until 10:00 pm tonight.

It may be noted that more than 400 flights were cancelled on Friday and Saturday due to bad weather.

The Tribhuvan International Airport sees around 150 to 160 daily flights. Niraula said that regular flights have resumed from all airports except Surkhet airport. (RSS)
