Two killed due to lightning

Kanchanpur, Sept 25: Two people have died when lightning struck them in Dodhara Chandani Municipality of Kanchanpur today. 

The deceased are 34-year-old Yam Bahadur Sunar of the Municipality-6 and 28-year-old Hiramati Rana of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-1 in the district, said Umesh Joshi, the Deputy Superintendent at the District Police Office. 

Thirty-seven years old Jagadish Sunar of Dodhara Chandani Municipality was injured in the incident and is receiving medical treatment at the local Primary Health Centre. He was hit by lightning while taking cover under a tree, police said.  (RSS)
