By Prakash Silwal, New York, Sept 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who arrived in New York of the United States of America in course of attending the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has started participating in spectacular meetings and events.
PM Oli is scheduled to have a meeting with Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres at 3.15 pm local time this afternoon.
Also today, PM Oli is set to address a programme of parliamentary forum to be organized at 1,00 pm local time at gas House On Park.
On Saturday afternoon, Deputy Secretary General Raham Fatima will call on PM Oli.
The Nepal Permanent Mission to the UN is hosting a reception in honour of PM Oli and the members of the delegation.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Arju Rana Deuba who is in Canada will join the delegation at New York today according to Representative of Permanent Mission Lok Bahadur Thapa.
PM Oli was briefed about different sessions and Nepal's role in the UNGA.
PM Oli had arrived in New York at 9.45 pm local time on Friday via Doha of Qatar.(RSS)
