Catalyzation of economy is main priority: CMP

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept 17: A task force formed for drafting a common minimum programme (CMP) has handed over a detailed report on CMP to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today. 

The CMP is prepared based on the seven points agreement of the Ruling Alliance, Nepali Congress and CPN (UML). 

Nepali Congress general secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, Deputy General Secretary of CPN (UML) Pradeep Gyawali, the Chief Political Advisor of Prime Minister Bishnu Rijal and Nepali Congress leader Prakash Sharan Mahat were present during handing over of the CMP. 

After submitting the draft of the common minimum programme  to Prime Minister in the Singha Durgar, Nepali Congress general secretary Gagan Kuamar Thapa, the report has been prepared emphasizing catalyzation of economy and implementation of youth based partnership programme.  

The drafted CMP will be published once it is approved by the council of ministers. 

He said rather than common minimum programme, it is the common resolution and and policy commitment of the two parties.
