Govt will follow due procedure to implement cooperative investigation report: DPM Singh

Avanish Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Sept 17: Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh has said that the government will follow a due procedure to implement the report submitted by a parliamentary special committee about the investigation of the alleged misappropriation of the cooperative funds. 

Speaking with Press Union Kailali on Tuesday at Dhangadi, DPM said that the government will study the report in detail before stepping into the implementation procedure.

Vice-President of Nepali Congress and DPM, Singh has vowed that the two largest parties Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have jointly formed the government with the aim of effective implementation of the Constitution and to catalyze the economy.

DPM Singh reminded, “The politics were uncertain which prevailed despondency among people”. Therefore he added, “To establish political stability, the two largest parties came together to form the government”. 

Minister further said that all the parties came along to write the constitution led by the Nepali Congress. Now further discussion will be held among all sides for its amendment to ensure its effective implementation.

He said, “Discussion among all sides is necessary”. 

DPM clarified that constitutional amendment is needed for its effective implementation not to curtail rights.

He viewed misinformation like “the system has been changed but the condition has not” as being disseminated. 

He said that there was a significant change incurred in the quality of education, and development process after the change happened in the system of the nation.

DPM Singh vowed that the cliché like nothing has changed is not correct.

He said that change has taken place however it is not satisfactory.
