By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 14: Sudur Paschim Province Women registered a seven-wicket win over Gandaki Women in the PM Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament at Fapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadi on Tuesday.
Batting first Gandaki scored 55 runs in the stipulated 15 overs in a loss of 7 wickets. The T-20 match was reduced to 15 overs following unfavourable weather conditions.
In response, Sudur Paschim achieved a simple target of 56 runs in just 9.5 overs with 7 wickets in hand.
To stop Gandaki in a small total Sudur Paschim's Rewati Dhami took four wickets alone.
Similarly, Janaki Thapa and Ritu Kanoujiya took a single wicket each.
Gandaki's Rekha Tamang and Srijana Poudel scored runs in double digits making 13 and 10 respectively. Other batsmen weren't able to hit runs in double digits.
