KTM will be developed as a livable city: Deputy Prime Minister Singh

Kirtipur, Sept 14: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has said that the government is working to make Kathmandu Valley a better livable city.     

In a message to the First Kathmandu District Council of Nepal Trade Union Congress held in Kirtipur today, Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that the current government was formed with the cooperation of the two major parties for political stability.     

Rajendra Kumar KC, a central member of the Congress and a member of the House of Representatives of Kathmandu Constituency-10, said that the trade union's attention should now be on how to make maximum use of the resources of the country and how to attract youths to the domestic labor market.     

President of Nepal Trade Union Congress, Yogendra Kunwar, held the view that labour movement should include both formal and informal sectors.(RSS)
