All should be effortful for dignified future of children: Minister Sudi

Kathmandu, Sept 14: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Nawal Kishore Shah Sudi has pointed out the need for increasing investment to carry out effective work in the best interest of the children.     

At a programme organized by the Ministry on the occasion of the National Children's Day-2081 here today, he stressed for more investment in the education and health sector, and protection of children.     

He argued that there are several challenges in child rights protection and dignified future of children and government was effortful to address them.     

Minister Sudi said due to various hindrances, inequalities and scarcities, children were experiencing negative impacts therefore these issues should be jointly addressed by the government and other stakeholders.(RSS)
