TU, Nepal Police Academy sign MoU to run Master's Degree

Kathmandu, Sept. 6: The Tribhuvan University (TU) and Nepal Police Academy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to run a Master's Degree in Political Science.     

Inspector General of Nepal Police Basanta Bahadur Kunwar and Dean of TU Prof Dr Dilliraj     

Sharma signed the MoU at the Nepal Police Headquarters on Friday.     

On the occasion, IGP Kunwar said the course will be based on career development and leadership development of police officers and added that the course shall make the officials professional and efficient to carry out the work execution in the changing contexts.     

He hoped that the course will also be crucial in making the promotion system transparent and predictable.     

Dean of the Faculty of Management of TU Prof Dr Sharma argued that course will make significant contributions to the capacity building of the police officers.(RSS)
