Palesha to be honoured with cash prize worth Rs 6.5 million

Kathmandu, Sept 5: The government has decided to present a cash reward of Rs 6.5 million to Palesha Govardhan, who won bronze medal in the Paris Para Olympics 2024.     

Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Government Spokesperson Prithvisubba Gurung shared that today's meeting of the Council of Ministers decided to reward Palesha with Rs. 6.5 million, her the coach with Rs.585,000 and the team manager with Rs.292,000.     

Likewise, the cabinet decided to grant a loan of Rs 600 million to the Dairy Development Corporation (DDC). The loan investment has been approved for the purpose of paying the farmers who supply milk to the DDC and for technological improvement and business expansion, he said.(RSS)
