Myagdi, Aug 27: The infrastructure
building at Bhurung-Tatopani Kunda of Annapurna rural municipality-2 here is in
limbo.
The project planned at the cost of
Rs 13 million is awaiting implementation. The federal government had also sent
the necessary budget for it, but the concerned sectors here have not paid
heed.
The budget is for building resting
places along the Annapurna circular trail which is a famous trekking route in
Nepal. The resting places convenience the trekkers en route to Annapurna trail
and Mustang.
Ward chair of Bhurung-Tatopani-2,
Om Prakash Phagami, however, informed that the project was delayed because the
mapping of Beni-Jomsom-Korala roadway was not realized yet. Even the budget
which is received for the project is not utilized due to delay in mapping road,
he regretted, saying that the federal government had provided assistance in two
lots. (RSS)
