At least 10 killed in Indian bus accident in Tanahun

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 23: At least 10 to 11 people have been killed when an Indian bus plunged into Marsyangdi River this morning.

According to the Armed Police Force (APF), a team of 45 police led by SSP Madhav Paudel from APF Disaster Management Training School started rescue work at the accident site. 

According to APF, at least 10 to 11 people have been killed in the accident and further rescue is underway. 

A bus with Indian number UP 53 FT 7623 fell some about 150 meters from the Prithvi Highway.

An Indian bus heading towards Kathmandu from Pokhara was plunged into the Marsyangdi River from Aanbookhaireni of Tanahun around 11:30 AM on Friday.
