Citizens urged to adopt caution citing swollen Arun River

Khandbari (Sankhuwasabha), Aug.14: The local level has urged all near the settlement near the riverbank of the Arun River to exercise caution as the water level in river has rose drastically triggered by the incessant rainfall of Tuesday night. 

It has also urged all to inform the local administration or the nearest police if the water level continues to rise. 

According to the District Police Office, the under-construction damn in the  Arun III Hydropower project at Faxinda, Makalu Rural Municipality-5, has been swept away because of being overflowed triggered by the incessant rainfall.
