Bhanu Cup Football from today

Damauli (Tanahun), Aug 3: The 17th Bhanu Cup football tournament is starting today in Tanahun.     

The tournament is organized by Bhansar Youth Club and being held at the playground in Bhansar of Bhanu Municipality-1.     

The club has been organizing the football tournament every year to promote Chundiramgha, the birthplace of Bhanubhakta Acharya. According to the sports coordinator of the club, Bishnu Adhikari, the opening match will be played the current champion Seven Star Youth Club of Tanahu and Young Boys FC Chitwan.     

 A total of 24 teams are participating in the competition which will be end with the final match on August 10. The winner of the tournament will receive a trophy and Rs. 250,211 in cash. The runner-up with walk home with Rs. 125,211.     

 The best player of the tournament will be awarded Rs 5,200, the best goalkeeper will be awarded Rs 5,211 and the top scorer will be awarded Rs 5,211.     

On the sidelines of the football tournament, shot-put and chess competition will also be held and the winners will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 6,211 each.(RSS)
