Janakpur, Aug 1: Information Technology will be used to the maximum in order to make the services delivered by public bodies of Madhesh Province effective.
Discussion was held with the bodies concerned and experts at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers regarding implementing good practice related to 'e-governance in Madhesh Province'.
Vice-Chairperson of Madhesh Province Policy and Planning Commission, Dr Sohan Sah, mentioned that e-governance is going to be implemented to make services provided by public bodies of the Province more effective, easy and smooth.
He shared, "In the beginning, digitalization will be practised at government-level and all stakeholders along with service recipients will be incorporated in digitalization gradually."
At first, e-governance would be launched at the four local governments of Madhesh province as well as offices having an excessive flow of service recipients, added Sah.
He stressed that data-based results will be achieved thereby ensuring good governance if development partnership programmes along with government offices could be incorporated in e-governance.
The Vice-Chairperson expressed the belief that public offices of Madhes province would deliver services by maintaining transparency in an effective manner through the use of information technology. (RSS)
