ACC Women's Asia Cup: Nepal defeated by Pakistan

Kathmandu, July 21: Nepal was defeated by Pakistan in the match played on Sunday in Sri Lanka's Dambulla International Cricket Stadium under the ACC Women's Asia Cup Cricket Championship.     

Pakistan defeated Nepal by nine wickets.     

Earlier, Nepal had posted a target of 109 runs to Pakistan, which Pakistan met in 11.5 overs with the loss of one wicket. Nepal's Kabita Joshi took a wicket of Pakistan.     

Nepal and Pakistan had also met in the Asia Cup in 2016. At that time, Pakistan beat Nepal by nine wickets. The Women's Asia Cup (Asian Women’s Cricket Championships), officially known as the ACC Women's Asia Cup is a women's One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket tournament. It was established in 2004 and is a biennial tournament. The tournament is contested by cricket teams from Asia.(RSS)
