One killed due to lightning
Makwanpur, June 17: One person has died in Makwanpur today due to a lightning strike.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Bir Bahadur Praja, a resident of Raksirang rural municipality-2 in the district. He was reportedly asleep in his house when the sudden discharge of electricity from the clouds struck him at around 4 o'clock in today morning.
He was rushed to Hetauda Hospital but doctors declared him dead on arrival. (RSS)
