Madhes province unveils Rs 43.89 billion budget for next fiscal year

Dhanusha, June 15: The Madhes province government has introduced its annual budget of Rs 43.89 billion for the fiscal year 2081/82.     

Minister for Finance of Madhes province Bharat Prasad Sah presented the budget in the province assembly today.     

According to the budget proposal, over Rs 16 billion (36.45 percent) has been earmarked for recurrent expenses while Rs 27.89 billion 1.4 million (63.55 percent) for capital expenses). The budget for the upcoming fiscal year is lesser by 0.50 percent than the current fiscal year budget.     

Minsiter Sah said the Madhes province government has earmarked budget laying focus on education, health, agriculture and tourism. (RSS)
