Govt committed for investment and policy improvement for girls: Minister Chaudhary

By TRN Online, Nawalpur, June 12: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Bhagbati Chaudhary, has said that the government is committed to improving policy and investment for girls.

During the interaction with the girls after the observation of the construction site of the Girls Learning and Resource Centre, Devchuli Municipality, ward no 10, organized by the Nawalpur Jagriti Baal Thatha Yuva Sarokar Nepal at Nawalpur today Minister Chaudhary said that it is necessary to improve investment for girls from society, family and government agencies. 

"The government has announced the Prime Minister Daughter Programme in the budget of this fiscal year", Minister Chaudhary said. 

The minister said that the programme is announced to enable daughters economically. 

"The state is committed to ensuring security, education, health of girls", she said. 

During the interaction, girl activist Rejina Gharti said that all three levels of government should put girls in its priority and take initiative to ensure investment. 

The Chairperson of the center, Tilotam Paudel, said that anyone can take and provide information about right of girls from the centre.
