Children and Senior Citizens Minister Bhagwati Chaudhary and former ambassador
of China Liu Yuhe has met on Monday.
Minister Chaudhary and the former ambassador had a
meeting at the ministry on Monday. During the meeting held on behalf of the
Women Empowerment and Development Society in Asia (WEDS) requested to
contribute to the three pillars of the Presidential women’s upliftment Program:
economic empowerment of women, social transformation against violence against
women, and the rescue and vulnerable women.
Saying that there is a situation where child from Children’s
Rescue Home gets bereft of higher education, Chaudhary urged to cons tribute
there as well.
Likewise, the former ambassador informed about the women’s
progress and digital empowerment green development program and urged Ministry Chaudhary
to play the role of consultant in the program.
