Weather to remain partly to generally cloudy throughout country today

Kathmandu, June 2: The weather throughout the country today is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy. This is due to the partial influence of local winds, westerly winds and a low-pressure area extending from Uttar Pradesh to West Bengal in India, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.  

  
Likewise, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places of the rest of the country, it shared.    

Gusty wind is possible at one or two places in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and chances of light snowfall is expected to occur at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region of the country    

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces along with the hilly regions and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country.    
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to take place at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces. (RSS)
