Renu Dahal, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, inaugurated the exhibition held at the exhibition centre of the Chitwan Association of Industries. Mayor Dahal said, "Bharatpur has made a stride in the development of infrastructure and it will carry out special plans in the area of manufacturing. Chitwan has developed itself as the capital of poultry farming and holds great potential for agriculture, so our programmes are concentrated on agriculture and poultry."

Mayor Dahal stressed that the main objective of the policy and programme to be introduced by the Bharatpur metropolis in the next fiscal year 2024/25 will focus on increasing agricultural production and poultry.

Asserting that it is necessary to revive the poultry sector, which was badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Dahal said that the metropolis will focus on boosting agriculture and poultry sectors.
