Janakpur as wedding hub, Lumbini as birthing hub

By TRN online, Kathmandu, May 28: Janakpur will be made a wedding hub for tourists who visit Nepal to tie knots. 

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun said so while presenting the annual estimate of income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year of 2081/82 BS (2024/25) at the joint meeting of the federal parliament.

He added that Ram Janakai temple in Janakpur will be made as the Wedding hub and Lumbini will be made as a birthing hub to attract more tourists in the country.
