Kathmandu, May 28 : The major
opposition Nepali Congress is holding its parliamentary party meeting to
discuss pressing issues as annual budget and embezzlement of cooperatives'
funds.
NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak
informed that his party's parliamentary party meeting was being held at 10:00am
in the federal parliament building, Baneshwor.
The NC has been demanding the
formation of a parliamentary probe committee on embezzlement of cooperative
funds, where it argued, has the involvement of Deputy Prime Minister and Home
Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
The government is scheduled to
present the annual budget in the parliament today. The NC is learnt to be
discussing on it as well. (RSS)
