Two individuals die in two separate accidents in Urlabari

By Our Correspondent,Urlabari, May. 14: A person died after his motorcycle hit a tree standing tall in the middle of the blacktopped road in Morang.

The Jate-Pathari road section in Morang was blacktopped without cutting a tree that stood in the middle of the road.

On Sunday afternoon, Deepesh Rai, 25, riding on a motorcycle with registration number Province 1-02-043 Pa 7215, suffered serious injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a tree. 

According to the Area Police Office, Deepesh was taken to the Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Centre and the hospital declared him dead at 6 pm. Meanwhile, his wife Lalita Rai, 21, who also suffered serious injuries, was taken to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar after her treatment was not possible at Madan Bhandari Hospital. 

Additionally, 46-year-old tempo driver Mekh Bahadur Magar died in a road accident at Bagaicha Chowk in Kerabari-5 of Morang on Sunday. Magar was driving a tempo with registration number Province 1-02-002 Ha 9244 and it collided with a pickup truck bearing registration number Ba1 Cha 2928, coming from Panbari towards the Kerabari. 

Magar died during treatment at BP Koilara Institute of Health Science in Dharan. 

After the accident, pickup truck driver Shiva Kumar Rihsidev, 27, from Morang's Budhiganga-2, was taken under police custody.
