Gorkhapatra’s deputy executive editor Radha Prasad Joshi passes away

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 10: Gorkhapatra Daily’s deputy executive editor Radha Prasad Joshi passed away on Wednesday night. He was 54.

According to his family members, Joshi was suffering from a kidney-related ailment. 

“My brother died at 11 pm on Wednesday at the Lalitpur-based KIST Medical College,” informed Gyanu Adhikari, sister of Joshi.

She added that Joshi had undergone a kidney transplant recently. The transplant was successful; however, Joshi, according to doctors, succumbed to a heart attack.

Joshi’s cremation was performed at the Pashupatinath Temple on Thursday. A permanent resident of Silgadhi of Doti district, Joshi had been living in Purano Baneshwar, Kathmandu. He has been working as a permanent employee of Gorkhapatra for 31 years. 

Joshi is survived by his wife and two sons.
