Gorkhapatra employees associations announce award winners

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 6: Three separate organisations of the Gorkhapatra Corporation (GC) affiliated with three major political parties have announced the winners of different awards established by them.

In separate statements, they said that the prizes would be distributed in the main ceremony of the 124th year of the publication of the Gorkhapatra and the 62nd anniversary of the Gorkhapatra Corporation scheduled for Monday.

The Gorkhapatra Corporation Employees Association -2052 decided to present its ‘Jai Prithivi Bahadur Singh Excellent Service Award’ to assistant computer officer Rama Moktan and distributor Rajendra Prasad Chaudhary.   Each of them will receive a cash prize of Rs. 7,552.  

Likewise, Nepal National Employee Organisation-2063  has decided to reward senior technical officer Bimala Devi Ghimire and office assistants Sukram Maharjan and Lata Paudel with its ‘Jagaruk Janasewak Samman’. The award carries a purse of Rs. 5,000. 

Likewise, the Gorkhapatra Sansthan Employees Association-2047 has decided to decorate office assistant Ram Krishna Shrestha and distributor Rajan KC with the Gorkhapatra Sansthan Best Employee Award.  Each awardee will receive a purse of Rs. 5,000.
