KMC Skill Fair in Tudhikhel

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 1: The KMC Skill Fair has started in Tundhikhel in Kathmandu from Wednesday.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started the fair with the slogan, ‘Employment and Income Growth, Kathmandu’s Prosperity’, from today.

The Skill Fair organized by KMC will run for a month where 29 different kinds of training such as haircut, mobile repair, beauty parlor, and carpenter, will be imparted. KMC aims to deliver training to 2,081 in the fair.

Deputy Mayor of the KMC Sunita Dangol inaugurated the fair formally on Wednesday, but the training will formally start from tomorrow. The training will run from May 1 to June 7.

According to the KMC, the Fair has been organized to develop skills and provide employment opportunities to people residing in KMC.

There was a significant participation of youths in the skill fair.
