Nepal defeat West Indies A by 4 wickets

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr 27: Nepal have registered a 4 wickets victory against West Indies A in the 1st Match of West Indies A Tour to Nepal at Kirtipur on Saturday.

Nepal achieved the target of 205 runs making 206 runs in 19.4 overs losing 6 wickets.

To make a successful chase against a big total Nepali Captain Rohit Paudel hit century runs. He scored 112 runs. 

Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airee hit 24 runs, whereas Kushal Malla and Kushal Bhurtel scored 16 runs each.

Gulsan Jha scored 9 runs, and Anil Sah and Pratis GC scored 5 runs each.

West Indies bowlers Matthew Forde and Obed McCoy took 2 wickets each whereas Keemo Paul took a wicket.

Earlier, batting first West Indies scored 204 runs in the stipulated 20 overs with Roston Chase (c)'s half-century in a loss of 5 wickets.

Chase hit 74 runs whereas Alick Athanaze, Keacy Carty, Kadeem Alleyne and Andre Fletcher scored 47, 38, 14 and 13 runs respectively.

Nepali bowlers Kamal Airee, Dipendra Singh Airee, Rohit Paudel and Abinash Bohara took one wicket each.
