By Jaya Krishna Yadav, Inaruwa, Mar. 30: The growing terror havocked by the wild elephants coming from Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, has scared locals.
The locals of wards 3 and 4 of Koshi Rural Municipality are seen horrified as three elephants have entered human settlements from the wildlife reserve.
The local resident Gulabi Mukhiya said that the problem has occurred as the wild elephants come at night and destroy crops by eating randomly or by stomping on them.
He said that locals are compelled to live in fearful environments as one to two people around wildlife reserve areas yearly lose their lives to the attack of wild elephants and crops worth millions get destroyed.
