Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), March 29: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, viewed quality healthcare warrants skilled human resources.
Inaugurating a newly constructed birthing centre at a province hospital under the Madhesh Academy of Health Sciences here on Friday, the Minister insisted on enhancement of physical infrastructures with sound technical management to ensure quality health services. On this occasion, he made aware the hospital workforces that people deserve best health service.
He hoped the Madhesh Province would soon witness betterment in the health sector as, he shared, Janakpurdham, Rajbiraj, and Birgunj cities were reporting significant developments to this front."
The 75-bed delivery centre was constructed at a cost of around Rs 1.4 million.
Academy Vice-Chancellor Dr Ankur Shah presided over the programme where various province ministers including the minister for health and population, Shatrudhan Prasad Singh were present. (RSS)
